How do I burn an ISO image in Ubuntu 6.06 (Dapper Drake)?

  1. Insert a write-able disc into the CD-ROM drive. When the Choose Disc Type prompt appears click Ignore.
  2. From the desktop menu bar, select Places > Home Folder to launch File Browser. Navigate to the location of the ISO that you wish to burn.
  3. Right-click on the ISO file and select Write to Disc. The Write to Disc window will display.
  4. Click Write.
If you have problems with your CD-RW drive writing usable discs, you may want to try reducing the Write speed.
  5. Once your ISO has been written to the disc, click Eject then remove the CD. Close the Write to Disc window.
