There are multiple solutions available for your local development environment. However, we choose MAMP because of it's simple installation and configuration. MAMP also provides up to date Apache / MySQL / PHP release versions.
- Download and install MAMP.
- Configure the MAMP Apache / MySQL ports.
- Setup the desired Document Root folder.
